In honor of the North American DVD/Blu Ray release of Battle Royale, I would like to start up a new class for a facebook game I created a while ago! The game was in "beta" and I had been so busy that I only made a few changes in complex rulings that occurred during Class I, but please like the page and I will contact you and see if we can get it started again!

P.S. I would like to ask if anyone is interested in being the BR monitor as the game consists of someone who tracks and organizes everyone's movements and actions during the course of the game. Anyone who has strong dedication and available daily can contact me.

Song in BRII is not on the OST CD?!

Hey,

I've recently bought the OST CD of Battle Royale II, I already had the CD of 1, because I'm so addicted to the BR music.

BUT!

Remember the scene in BRII, where everybody is sitting at a campfire in the evening, and Shuya offers Taku a drink (from a bottle that looks extremely like Kawada's bottle)?

Well, the song you hear there. I can't find it on the CD! What's this about? Is there any way to find that song? There is another version on the CD, but it's much milder than the one in the movie.

So where do I find this version of the movie?

Hi,

I when I ordered the blu-ray i recieved this and then bought myself a new one as I didnt know if it would be worth any money because it is #11. I have now put it up for auction on ebay. Do you think I should be expecting any more because of the fact it is #11 or should I expect the normal sort of price? I read on another forum that the first ten went to people involved in the making of the movie/set.

Also, there has been speculation regarding a US remake of Battle Royale, do you think this is an unneccissary 'cashing in' on successful foreign texts (I'm thinking along the lines of Let the Right One in) or is there room for an alternative take on the narrative...perhaps even a European version as opposed to a glammed up Hollywood remake?

We should contact regular members from the history of BRf and request their assistance to resurrect a community in the form of:

A# Three to five posts each day. The time essential would be minimal and it'd be invaluable to activate the process of returning BRf to the previous state.
B# One thread each week. Naturally, we require diverse content for choice with our effort to contribute.
C# Suggestions (proceeded with practical implementation) to enhance opportunities for the forum to be appealing (e.g. RPG's, fanfic contest, Battle Royale simulations, move nights, chat room schedules).
D# Seek other Battle Royale fans and encourage them to participate in the community.

Additionally, we should aspire to establish a functional community that's fun without prejudice, elitism, or discussion of the past being superior. I'm confident it is feasible for us to all return happily-- optimistic that the forum will be stabilized-- but we need the motivation from passion...

And I find myself back on the battle royale forums wondering how bad was the last volume of the battle royale manga... In a perfect world Battle Royale should have been picked up by VIZ...

There used to be a site called Fight 4 Survival, but it got taken down and as far as I know, that was the only site that had those scans.
Another thing I would appreciate is a website with tons of BRII photos, which Fight 4 Survival had.
