Samuel L Jackson as Kitano because he's got that stare that kills and because BR needs a brother. Ellen Page as Noriko because the girl had the tendency to run away from fights as did Noriko. Who needs a gun when you got a 90 Mph fastball?

Posts: 5171 (06/10/06 13:08:11) Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I don't see why BR wouldn't work with caucasian kids, personally I think part of the charm of BR is it would be any class of kids from any nation, but if you stick Tom Cruise and Keira Knightley in there as 15 year olds killing each other it doesn't look right, even the young stars like the Olsen Twins don't look 15, where as a lot of the BR kids to me looked geniunly like normal 15 year olds.

I believe unknowns would be for the best for casting the students. It would lead us away from judging them and their effect on the movie. And I just remembered that most of the Shiroiwa students were unknown actors in Japan.
