Sci Fi expo in toronto is coming up again .. and theres not a year i missed out on coming ( then again we get in for free from a friend who works there ) ...
Anyway i just realized that this expo usually brings in the latest stuff ...from Starwars ,Star Trek , comic books , DVDs , VHS , and so on ... i have a feeling they just *MIGHT* have some BR2 gear on hand ... hoping perhaps one of the booths went to japan and got some goodies from the store in Ginza ... ^_^ .. well just a thought to consider ... ill fill you folks in when I get a chance to go ...
Ai Maeda photobook has finally hit Ebay, this one autographed like all of the ones on yahoo! japan. Looks like harviclown might make another killing on a BR book...
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...3340869068 heres a "road to BR II" photo book. looks pretty cool. ya got til aug 11 to snatch it up. i'd get it myself but im broke!
I would seriously, seriously advise against getting Road to BR 2, or any of the other BR 2 books on Ebay. Like in that auction, they are overpriced and can be had for much cheaper from Amazon.co.jp. I got both the Road to BR 2 and the BR->BR2 Complete Guidebook for 44$ including shipping with that.
Actually, let me add that if they are on Ebay for a decent price (there are some good EBayers who have been selling BR 2 merchandise for great prices) then go for it. But just make sure you're not getting ripped off.
yah, i thought that it was overpriced too. there are a lot of br books on ebay for sale, but usually sell out really quickly. so if you see a photobook or anything like it at a reasonable price, seriously consider getting it because it usually goes out fast.
Once again, our dear ebay seller, havinclown, is back with more BR goods. You guys may be interested in the BR card game that he is currently selling. The Aki Maeda photobook is back for a second round and the BR Complete Guidebook is back for the THIRD time. Not to offend havinclown in any way, but I feel that selling the same book, especially a OUT OF PRINT book for three times in a row is kind of suspicious. There has a be an alternative, cheaper way of getting hold of these books that we do not know about.
Uh...no offense but duh. He probably lives in Japan and gets them cheap. That's fine for BR1 books that can't be bought online but him selling the BR 2 books for so much is kinda lame. That's why I liked letting the bidders on those items know about Amazon Japan.
