Anywhere but Tokyo. There was a place I was looking at in Kobe that seemed nice, but I am open for options. I am looking for a place to go to for a few weeks-months to go in fall 09/spring 10.

So I can't really help you too much.

It's right on the ocean, it's pretty, and the city is perfectly sized. It's also right near Osaka and Kyoto, which is cool. I studied in Nagoya, and didn't really like the school, but the city was okay. Or just go to a sweet island.
