Anna would probably take him under her wings and notice the signs since her close friend and cousin is gay as well and probably has gone through a similar phase. And since I really want some more ideas for romance in this fic it's going to be mutual ;-) I also hadn't figured out which guy Kenji could like. Now that I think about it, Kenji seems like a bisexual Shinji lol. I remember I made this list for my characters to help Adam with who they would all look for and stuff: Kenji "Ken" Kamin: Best buddies: The Anti-Clique (but he can't stand Peter from that group though and it's completely mutual because of Kenji's more flaming homosexuality and Peter being firmly against it.) Romance: Crush on Adam because she feels he would understand what it's like to be autistic around others who aren't. She's hiding it because she does not want any tension or weirdness caused on him because of it. She's not aware that Adam does know about it. Tension: Bumps heads with various amount of people due to her disorder, people do not understand her that well even though everyone in class is informed about her disorder. Frenemies with Roy Smiths. She secretly envies Anna Wilson and wishes she could be as pretty and popular but with surprisingly much emotional depth as her. Roy Smiths: Best buddies: Manuel Noles, Alyssa "Aly" Davids, Laurinda Davis outside of the goth clique (if that's ok?) Friends: Stefano Valutti, Jake Wilson and would get along well with the goths. Romance: Romantic feelings for Emily Green and will try to help her get out of her shell. Tension: Frenemies with Alyssa "Aly" Davids, can't stand the Diallo brothers. He feels pressured that some of the goths he hangs out with clearly dislike Sadie, while Roy doesn't. Shanae Preston: Best buddies: Kevin Hetfield, Stefano Valutti, Valerie Wolfe Friends: None Romance: Has been dating Kevin Hetfield for half a year - good relationship. Tension: Clashes often with Holly Morgan and Rahne Southers. Jake Wilson: Best buddies: Anna Wilson, Layne Diallo. Friends: Richard Diallo, Ian Doherty, Adam Lewis, Scot Irving, Manuel Noles, Roy Smiths. Romance: Is in love with Roy Smiths Tension: Feels uncomfortable with being friends with some AC members and Roy while his sisters and Layne & Richard despise them. Jake often isolates himself from this 'rivalry' and goes off to Manuel since he doesn't know anyone who has a problem with him. Anna Wilson: Best buddies: Jake Wilson, Holly Morgan, Rahne Southers, Sandra Jackson, Sadie Willis, Richard Diallo and I can see Alexander being around them as well if it's ok. Anna would do anything to make him feel comfortable around the loud Diallo brothers. Friends: Layne Diallo Romance: Mutual crush on Richard Diallo and flirts a lot with him. Tension: She doesn't have a problem with the AC or Roy but they certainly do with her. She tries hard to not let Jake suffer under it because she knows he's good friends with some of them them.

It is from a book written 20 years after Battle Royale Caledonia by a man who is basically Mr Graham from The Last Samurai. Only seen here and on the IMDb thread, not the website for now! As the ferry pulled into the harbour, Pete Morgan left the bus and was immediately met by a uniformed officer, with a dozen or so soldiers all standing to attention just behind him. He had a very official demeanour and a grizzled and cynical look in his eye. He seemed to be relishing what was about to happen, and immediately addressed Morgan. "Peter Morgan, Head of Year for the 2009 6th Year Class of St. Barnabus College, Perth?" He had a thick Edinburgh accent. "That's right" He turned to the bus driver, who seemed uncertain as to what to do next, "And this is - " "Sir I have no interest in your driver, only your passengers and yourself. He may entertain himself on the ferry as he sees fit until it returns to the mainland. As for you, allow me to introduce myself. I am Lieutenant James Andrew Stevenson, and you may call me...whatever you like actually. I am in charge of security over the course of this event and am to assist you howsoever I can - I am at your command, and so therefore are my men." He seemed conflicted as to how formal he should be. Not used to taking orders from a school teacher, evidently. "Well thank you Lieutenant. Just a small detachment you have then?" "Ha ha, no, just a small escort to take you to the school building. The rest are making final preparations there. I have to say you know, I'm rather excited about the prospect of these proceedings, how about you? I should think it will be very interesting to see how it turns out! Of course, the inevitable reduction in crime once the feral youth realise they cannot hope to stand against us will also be a blessing from Heaven to see! " "Quite, although I can't help but admit part of me is still conflicted about all this...my own daughter is on the bus you see" "Ah yes, so I heard. Well I can understand that, it's only natural to feel such affection for one of your own" Neither his voice or eyes betrayed even the slightest hint of empathy. This was clearly a man without his own children. "Now while I may not have children myself ("Knew it", thought Morgan), I too have faced situations where I've been forced to go against my natural instincts and principles in order to serve my country as best I can. This is what you must do Mr. Morgan. You are serving your country in doing this, and in a very great way, and if your daughter should die it will be for a spectacular good indeed. Besides, you never know, she might live! I hear Holly is very popular - not having enemies is a good way to be in a situation like this!" If this was an attempt at reassurance it was insulting, if it was a joke it wasn't funny. Morgan ignored the remark completely and decided to get on with things. 3 days with this man was not going to be a pleasant prospect he felt. "Right well, much to do, so let's get to HQ shall we?" Stevenson's eyes lit up, he liked a "straight down to business" sort of guy as Morgan clearly was. It was far more than he expected from a civilian, even if he was so obviously ignorant of just how irrelevant his parental feelings were in consideration of his duty. "Yes, of course! One of mine shall drive the bus, your man can leave us now. Parker!" He barked over to one of his troops, "Take us to the school and be quick about it!" "Sir yes sir!" came the reply. "Calum, feel free to have a wander around the ferry, I think it goes back in a couple of hours. Thank you very much for all you've done." "Thank you very much, I think I'll do that." The driver smiled at Morgan "Sir" he said, gesturing to Stevenson as he walked past. Stevenson just growled and hurried his men onto the bus. Out of the corner of his eye, Morgan noticed Calum running ever-faster. Small wonder he felt uncomfortable! Lucky guy getting to leave so soon... The journey to the imposing school building didn't take long. Stevenson was babbling all the while, telling Morgan and any of his soldiers who would listen about his history and his career. Very self important and very uninteresting, thought Morgan. When they arrived, a couple of dozen more troops boarded the bus and removed the unconscious students. Morgan was instructed to make himself at home in the school, so he went inside to take a look around. It was a small building, naturally, and one of two on the island, the other being the combined Primary and Nursery school across the street. The staff room had been turned into the main command centre for the Program, and a few soldiers were still hurriedly arranging cables and testing equipment. A few of them were mumbling things like "Stevenson will kill us", so clearly he had them running scared. Not surprising really, he seemed a most unpleasant man. He had raised a good point though - his duty had to come first, and his own life would be forfeit if he tried to interfere with proceedings for the sake of his daughter. Oh Holly...her mother was so angry at him for this that she'd insisted he not be in the house for the final few days beforehand. It wasn't his fault of course, and he'd tried to get out of it, but to no avail. It was only natural that his wife would blame him. His other 5 children didn't even know what was going on, and wouldn't until today. He'd claimed it was a teacher's conference and left for a few days, to reflect on what he was about to do. He had to think of his duty, and his reward - he'd be paraded as a hero if things went well. A shining example to teachers everywhere, that's what they'd say, he was told. No way out, so he knew he'd just have to believe that. And hope, desperately, that she would survive. Having unpacked his things, had a coffee and attempted to relax for a little in the staffroom, Stevenson marched in, again, somewhat pompously, with an escort. Morgan looked at his watch. 4.30am. Posts: 392 (03/19/09 01:56:03) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Haha niceee.... -I got Yoshio's nr for Kenji at the moment who's so opposite, a rebel-ish character. -I got Tatsumichi's nr for Manuel :O -Hiroshi's for Stefano who's all protective, passionate and caring -Kevin for a hardcore mean bully :O Ok Kevin is like the opposite of Ryuhei, animal activist and polite to everyone but brutally honest. -Richard as Hiroki, niiice ^^ he's kinda like Hiroki, being fit and into martial arts and polite and anti-fighting but Richard is mostly anti-fighting because of his relaxed personality, not because he's afraid to start liking it or hurting anyone too much with it. And I doubt Hiroki was a druggie XD. -Sadie as Mitsuko :O :O :O okay....even more opposite, forget about Ryuhei/Kevin XD XD. Sadie is a hippie, all for peace and love and will never even think of killing someone and she's an activist. -Layne as Yutaka muhahah. Jake does have some of the feminine flamboyant features of Shou but he's not a gang member, not muscled, not manipulative and instead he's well a good guy, geeky and over-achiever with many extracurricular activities. -Shanae as Noriko...oh wow...Noriko got a different ancestry, grew a few feet taller, became bitchy, bossy, loving to argue and in-your-face and into sports and making sure she'd look pretty. -Roz as Yuka muhaha. Rob? C&P: Yay, it's full! I for a second thought Jake was going to get the no weapon message but poor Emily she's already so weak. Roy better find her to help her even though he's little use either since he's a wimp XD, it's the gesture haha. I think it was good to assign some firearms to some characters submitted by Rob or Lau since other then Laurinda and Charlie from Rob I had already forgotten about them slightly (sorry), maybe when they are put in a position where killing is really easy they will be more memorable but sure you'll make something work [[smile]] . I love the darts for Roz, that is an amazing choice for her, so funny. I figured I'd get some joke weapons since I submitted so many but the brick and the darts are great choices for dummy weapons. Wow, Layne has a pretty high-ranked firearm there, I'm already curious to see how you will deal with that. Hmm, Jake's weapon is fine, I think he would definitely need something decent to protect his weak self with and the bat isn't as heavy as some of the other ones, excellent choice again. I wonder what will happen if he and Layne team up because Jake is incredibly anti-violence and then his best friend has this enormous firearm with him. I can see him being incredibly scared Layne is going to use it just because he can. What do you think? The binoculars for Stefano is a perfect choice as well, he will definitely use it to try to track Kevin or Shanae or Val down with it and it suits is peaceful personality. Val with the road flare seems like a good choice as well, it wouldn't take her a lot of effort to use it with her health problems and easily getting exhausted. Roy's dagger is perfect and I hope it will lead to a short flashback about his past. It's also small and so he'll be able to keep it with him when needed (I hope haha). Oh, I don't know for sure if you noticed or if you did it on purpose but Ken has grenades and Alexander, his object of affection has the fireworks. Did you give them two err, 'explosive' weapons for a reason? Because of course Stan and I decided it was going to be mutual if you'd agree on it hehe. In the Program they both set out to try and find each other. I know how it ends, but not how things go before that. And yes, this means there's two versions of the Hiroki sub plot within the Anti-Clique as Adam is trying to find Holly as well, but I promise you it won't get boring - they don't end in the same way by a long shot.
