WARNING: THIS FANFIC CONTAINS HEAVY LANGUAGE AND MASS AMOUNTS OF DRUNK!SHO AND BOTTOM!RYUHEI. THE AWESOMENESS OF IT ALL COULD QUITE POSSIBLY BLOW THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD OFF.
Oh, Justin, you would have loved to see me writing this one. You really would have. xD
The purpose of this oneshot was partly practice writing, but mostly for self-service. (Er, wait, that came out wrong I think.) Because I'm an insatiable little fanbrat. xP But yes, I know the overall plot's a little weak and the ending sucks balls, but as you'll notice those weren't the two things I was most concerned about. xD I might be able to squeeze a second chapter out of this, if for some reason someone likes this. So just ask if you want. x3
I feel like dedicating this to Justin. Why? Because I just do. I WUV YOU JUSTIN, THANX FOR READING ALL MY CRAPPY SHO/RYUHEI FICS (and also writing some with me). =D x3
I'm sorry for all you see, plz dun disown me. D=
2,628 WORDS---------------------------------------------------------
The night hadn't started out too badly for me. In fact, it started out great. Sho, Mitsuru, Hiroshi and I had found out earlier that day from Kazuo that a friend of his father's ran a bar, and that he'd serve Kazuo Kiriyama and his friends anything, no questions asked. (As Kazuo put it, "He won't tell if we don't.") It was a great deal for us, and we jumped at the chance for some free booze, no strings attached. So we went to the bar that night, and as promised we were given drinks by the owner.
We all partook in the offering, some of us more so than others. And when I say "more so" I mean they got shitfaced drunk and started feeling everyone up at the bar. And when I say "some of us" I mean Sho.
We were able to ignore him for about 45 minutes or so, but the bar owner finally came up to our table and asked us to make him stop. Fifteen minutes later of unsuccessfully trying to get Sho to keep it in his pants, the owner kicked us out (apologizing to Kazuo vehemently and giving the rest of us sidelong glares).
We were all pissed off at Sho for getting us kicked out, but a nagging voice in the back of our minds said that he was in no condition to be walking home on his own. Someone had to take him home. After a while, we all decided who should be the one to do it in a mature, fair manner.
Long story short, Kazuo simply said he didn't want to do it and as for Hiroshi and Mitsuru, well, I'm not good at playing "not it."
So there I was, trudging along a dark, empty street with a very smashed Sho stumbling beside me.
" 'ey, Ryuhei," He was saying, his words slurred. "I got that one guy'ss number right before we left. D'ya think if I call 'im back I could get a good lay outta 'im?"
I didn't want to answer him, but I knew if I didn't he'd get pissed even in this state that I was ignoring him, so I just mumbled, "I'unno."
Sho giggled and slurred, "I bet I could. I mean, who woul'n't wanna piec'a this? 'm hot sh*t, nah a guy out there who woul'n't wan' thiss. 'm fuckin' gorgeouss. Ryuhei, tull me how pretty I 'm."
This I couldn't bring myself to answer in any way, so I stuck my hands in my pockets and ducked my head down, hoping that he might be drunk enough to just forget I was there.
But soon enough, I heard him whine, "Ryuheeeiii. Dun' ignore meeee. You think 'm pre'y, righ'?"
To my disdain, I found myself blushing slightly as I quickly muttered, "Yeah, yeah, yeah," to keep his ego assuaged. I shook it away and to make myself feel better quickly ranted, "F*ck, Sho, I can't believe you got us kicked out. You're the one who can usually get more booze than the rest of us; what's the deal with getting this smashed?"
Sho frowned and replied, "I c'n have a lil' fun if I w'nt ta. S'nce wh'n're you my m'th'r?" He stumbled again on a crack in the sidewalk and had to support himself on my right shoulder.
I stopped walking for a second and smirked as I looked back at him and said, "Since you lost the ability to walk."
"G'to hell…c'n walk jus' fine…" As Sho was saying this he began to lean into me and he snaked his left arm around my shoulders.
" 'ey! Get offa me, dammit!" I shouted, less annoyed that he had gotten so close to me than at the fact that he was trying to support his entire weight on me, which was practically crushing me. Sho grumbled and stood up a little straighter so I wasn't holding him up entirely. I took a deep breath and looked at him, scowling, "How is this walking 'just fine'?"
Sho mumbled something in return, but at this point his words were so slurred I couldn't understand a thing he was saying.
"Whatever," I scowled. After a moment I grudgingly put a rigid arm around Sho's waist to help him support himself and we continued walking like this.
After a few minutes, Sho seemed to be doing a good job on keeping himself up, but he still hung on me like a limp doll. It was starting to hurt my shoulders, so I asked, "Hey, you think you can walk on your own now?"
Sho said nothing for a while. My eyes grew wide as he suddenly leaned the top half of his body closer into me. His hand grasped at my shirt as if he were holding on for his life. Our faces were dangerously close, and I felt our cheeks brush slightly as he shifted around.
I completely froze and my breath caught in my throat as I could now feel Sho's heavy breathing on my face. "S-sho…?" I managed to choke out, my face turning bright red. "-the hell?"
"…w'nna…go home…" he mumbled.
I blinked at him but then quickly looked away. Sh*t, I thought, gritting my teeth. C'mon, Ryuhei, the sooner you get him home the sooner this will end. I decided the best course of action would to be to just keep walking.
Sho was still keeping on his feet alright, but right as we started walking again I felt him stumble. My right arm involuntarily tightened around his waist while my left shot up and grabbed his hand. My blush deepened as I realized what I was doing, but I didn't want him to fall so I didn't let go. I glanced to my left at Sho's and my hand (Sho's nails were painted a dark blue color tonight) and immediately tried to tear my eyes away from the sight, but all I had to look back to was Sho's face less than a hair-width from mine. Because he was so close his scent enveloped me, and to keep from breathing it in meant I would have to stop breathing altogether. The smell of alcohol was heavy on his breath, and there was an overall lingering smell of cigarette smoke on him, especially in his hair, from being such a heavy smoker. But under that I could smell something sweeter, more perfumey. He smelled good, kind of like a girl.
As soon as I thought it I immediately started blushing again. Sh*t. Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t. I'm f*cking drunk. I am definitely f*cking drunk. Dammit, shouldn't we be at his house yet?
"Ryuhei…"
I felt my name being said as well as heard it. Sho was breathing on my neck, and a chill ran down my spine as my name was breathed there. "W-what?"
"I don't feel very good…"
Still blushing, I mumbled, "I'm not surprised. That's what you get for trying to drink your own weight in shots. Just tell me if you're gonna puke, because if you do it on me I'm gonna kill you."
Sho groaned quietly and said, "You should feel sorrier for me, Ryuhei…"
"Don't puke on me." I repeated. "Why don't you have a smoke or something. Doesn't that usually make you feel better?"
"Don't have any…" Sho murmured. My face grew hot as he suddenly decided to breathe in my ear now, and he continued, "…used up that pack at the bar…"
I stopped walking again and looked at Sho, hoping that it was too dark for him to see how flushed I was. "Seriously, Sho, tell me if you're gonna puke, because I don't want you to do it on-"
My words caught in my throat as Sho lifted his head to finally look at me. Up until this point, he had either been looking at the ground or straight ahead or not focusing at anything at all. But now his eyes were focused right into mine, in such an intense way that I thought he'd never look at anything else. He looked a little tired, but he still somehow managed to get his light brown eyes to bore right into me. I couldn't even begin to think about looking away. He had me trapped there in his gaze and I couldn't tear myself away. Sho looked like he was about to say something, but instead he reached his right hand up to my face and placed it lightly on my cheek. Up until this point I had been absolutely frozen, but I jumped slightly at the feel of his hand on my face. The intensity in his eyes began to disappear from view as his eyelids began to close, and my eyes went wide as he suddenly forced his lips onto mine.
I let out a yelp which was stifled by Sho's mouth, and the undeniable reality slowly came over me. Sho… he… I… we… we're… kissing?! Even as realization washed over me I was unable to move. Sho was now turning himself around so we were face-to-face rather than side-by-side. He placed his other hand behind my head and forced my mouth open with his tongue as he continued to attack my lips. I lamely balled my hands into fists and put them on his chest, pushing weakly, but I found myself unable to protest any further. I was bright red and my heart was pounding like crazy. His lips were incredibly hot and the heat of the kiss was spreading everywhere through my body.
I let out a muffled whimper as Sho's tongue began excitedly stroking my own. At this point I was still going at my pathetic attempts to get him off of me, but I started shaking uncontrollably and lost complete control of my muscles. I could just barely keep myself standing up. I found my eyes slowly closing. Those scents of alcohol, cigarette smoke and something sweet that I had smelled on him before were now consuming me. My cheek and the back of my head where Sho's hands were felt like they were on fire. It was my first kiss and no one had ever aroused me like this before. All of this and the fact that I was also drunk (not near as drunk as Sho, but definitely past buzzed) was clouding my thoughts, and I couldn't process the consequences of my actions as I began to return the kiss.
Sho had been sucking on my bottom lip at this moment, and I slowly began sucking on his top. The movement of our lips started complimenting each other, but before either of us could deepen the kiss, Sho suddenly pulled away. I must have forgotten to breathe during the fray, because upon feeling the weight of Sho's mouth disappearing, I found myself gasping for air. I clutched at his shirt for some sort of support and looked up at him. He was gazing at me with the same intensity as before, and a chill ran down my spine as he breathed heavily on my face. His hands moved down to my shoulders and I suddenly felt myself being pushed towards the wall of a building behind us. I gasped slightly as I was shoved a little roughly into the wall, but I was soon silenced by Sho's lips on mine once again.
I whimpered as Sho's tongue entered my mouth for the second time, and this time I immediately returned the kiss. Sho's left arm was propped up against the wall above my head, while the right one had reached underneath my shirt and around my waist, holding onto it tightly. I was still trembling uncontrollably and the feeling of his skin touching mine was so incredibly hot and dizzying; I was completely losing myself. I thought my legs might give out at any moment, and I desperately gripped at the wall behind me trying to find any kind of leverage.
Sho suddenly withdrew his tongue from my mouth and begun chewing on my bottom lip. As I caught my breath, I already felt the hotness which had completely spread throughout the inside of my mouth and the area around my lips draining from my face. I opened my eyes slightly and saw Sho nibbling busily at my lip. As I continued to breathe heavily I found myself pushing my arms away from the wall and slowly lifting them up to Sho's shoulders. I hesitated for a second before placing them there, and then I reached as far around his neck as I could to pull myself closer into him. I took his lips in mine and started sucking on them. As I did this, Sho opened his eyes and looked at me. I stopped for a second and blinked at him, and we stayed perfectly still like this for a moment until he closed his eyes again as he relaxed his other arm to reach down under my shirt and around my waist as well. I shuddered and let out a stifled moan as he pulled my torso into his, and I closed my eyes as I tightly wound my arms around his neck to pull us closer together.
Somewhere in the back of my mind a voice was saying, What are you doing, you f*ggot, this is another guy for God's sake, and f*cking Sho no less. For what it's worth, he's your best friend. You're so f*cking drunk. Pull away before you make this any worse.
But I couldn't bother to listen to the voice. I know it's faggy, but at that moment it was just me and Sho and no one else, and I was really f*cking happy about that.
We were making out for what seemed like hours, but was probably only a couple minutes. As our tongues played with each other, I suddenly felt Sho withdraw very quickly and without warning. My eyes shot open and I looked up at him in confusion. He was looking at me again, but without the same intensity as before. His eyes seemed a little glazed over.
He suddenly started speaking, and I jumped at the sound of his voice which I hadn't heard in a while. "That…" he started, breathing heavily, "that... did not… help…"
I blinked at him, utterly confused, not knowing what he was talking about. I suddenly felt his hands sliding out from under my shirt and before I knew it he was no longer in front of me and my hands were grabbing at empty space. I quickly looked to my left and saw that he was walking away from me. When he was about five feet away he placed a hand on the wall, leaned down and puked all over the sidewalk.
This began to slowly bring me back to reality, and I gradually started remembering that Sho was wasted out of his mind and realizing that I might as well have been. I stood frozen against the wall, staring stupidly at Sho and wondering what in the hell I should do now. It hit me pretty quickly that Sho wouldn't remember this tomorrow.
Damn, I wish I could be half as lucky. Or half as drunk…Wow, I'm sure it says a lot about my life right now that luck and drunkenness are basically the same thing.
As I struggled to regain my composure, Sho, who had been hunched over in the aftermath of spilling his guts, slowly pulled himself up and leaned against the wall. He turned to me grinning, and almost proudly said, "I didn't puke on you."
I blinked and in spite of myself gave him a little half-smile and after a moment replied, "No. No, you didn't."
